A Bit About Melissa
Melissa is a lifelong Texan born in Iowa Park, Texas. She moved to the metroplex after earning her Masters of Music in Choral Conducting at Emory University. Recently retired, Melissa was a choir director for 28 years in Cedar Hill, McKinney and Richland College. She also served as music minister at Prosper United Methodist Church. Melissa loves the relationships that are built in a music community whether it be school or church. As a church musician she believes in the profound impact that music has on the worship life of a congregation. Melissa lives near White Rock Lake with her dogs and cats and wonderful husband Wally.
